Elsewhere: Me on Writing
Over at my fiction site I have this thing called “deLay on writing” where I talk about my experiences as a “writer” and the struggles, triumphs and all that. See an excerpt below and the link is here.
I have piles and piles of papers of past ideas, stories, characters, settings and plots sitting in my room at this very moment. I have bytes and bytes of lost and forgotten tales and legends laying about without a care in the world on my hard drives. They taunt me with their half finished ideas and lackluster motivations. Characters I thought were good and buried have busted from beneath the dizzying array of folders and wandered to the forefront of my mind seeking attention.
