Below is another way for you to easily find posts about my stroke that occurred in April of 2008. Thank you!
The time line with posts is listed is also below. This will be updated with time.
On April 15th, 2008 I am released from the hospital after going in on the 9th. I post this short item giving a quick update and begin to figure out what to do next. Later that night I write out the first part of my tale with the usual lackadaisical sarcasm I’m sorta known for and this post results.
I follow up that post on April 19th with retrospective and honest answers about how I feel and where I am in the process. I write about everything and anything that is going through my heart and put the whole thing out there.
April 24th brings more self evaluation and emotional turmoil as I open up the chambers of my heart for all to see through my wandering written prose. With the sun coming up on April 26th, I break loose of the depressing facts and allow my mind to wander and release some tension with the post that welcomed the weekend.
On May 3rd I felt something going wrong in my leg and arm. I ended up in the ER and hospital again and this post explains part one.
On June 17th I updated with a short message about where I was and where I was headed here.
June 30th brought my most vociferous update to date with some heartfelt moments of tired anger and frustration. Check it out here. July 16th brought me to 101 days stroke free and with some serious life altering thoughts put to paper.
At 115 days I contemplate going off my medication to save money. In the end I make the right choice. As 123 days (and incidentally three months) passes I’m reveling in the pain and struggle once more.
145 Days hits and I talk about being Spiritually Bankrupt and a number of other things.
I say goodbye to 2008 and welcome 2009 while talking about my stroke.
Just short of a year after my stroke my birthday rolls in and The Stroke Strikes Back.
And like that, it’s been a year.
1 year, 1 month and 4 days later.
The question is asked – Was it the Sleep Apnea?
It’s LOSE IT OR DIE time!
